Many times, we don’t have the patience and say something that is hurtful. Sometimes it comes out sarcastic, but in reality, if we said it out loud, we were at least thinking of that comment in a literal way. Criticizing and judging others happens daily, yet we still continue to do it even though it is breaking God’s law. God’s law applies to everyone, not just us Christians and sometimes, non-Christians are better at following this law than actual Christians. We, as God’s children, need to be the example and obey his law. It shouldn’t be because we have to, but because we love Him and want to follow him, so let’s not speak evil and bring each other down. Instead, we should be lifting each other up and giving words of encouragement.
Often, I find that doubting is very easy to do, but believing is so much harder. As Christians, we have to keep our faith strong because we believe in something that we cannot see. Knowing God is always with us is the first step in having a good relationship with him, but when we stop believing, we start doubting things about God and become very unstable. We should not be doubting God and instead we need to keep a firm foundation in believing in God. We constantly are changed by things around us, so we need to stay strong and keep believing and never doubt. Once we start doubting, we lose focus on God, so let us be like the rock not the waves.
