"Oh my goodness! Shut me down! Machines making machines?! Hmm... How perverse." - C-3PO
Playable Characters: R2-D2, Anakin, Amidala, Obi-Wan, Yoda.
Enemies: Geonosian, Super Battle Droid, Battle Droid (Security), Battle Droid (Commander), Gun Turret, Count Dooku.
What a rescue this has been. Anakin and Padmé are down, and we are left with R2. Unlike the Console version, Enemies will notice R2, and they will shoot at you, so your main goal to begin with is to find Anakin and Padmé, so we have a way to attack enemies. To start with, hover across the gaps, following the arrows made with Studs, if you fall down, simply make your way back to the starting platform. Once all the gaps are crossed you'll notice a Silver Protocol Droid who gives you the ability to Hover straight up. Press Select to gain this ability, then Hover up the wall. Once up on this catwalk, follow the path straight ahead, and you'll come to a control panel. Use the R button to use R2's astromech abilities to disable the buzzers. Time past and press Select to gain Anakin. Continue along this path and force together this switch to free Padmé, and disable the Force Field. Hop down the steps to get to where Padmé is, and press Select to add her to the party. Destroy the Battle Droids around here, then hit both blue targets to open the door. Head on through once it opens.
Follow the catwalk along and use R2 to activate the Control Panel. The Force Field will deactivate, allowing you to drop down. We're back in this first area from the last level. This time though, we have to head down an extra level. Make your way down a level and follow the path around. You'll find a control panel, so use R2 to activate it. This'll deactivate the Force Field sitting right next to the Panel. Drop Down and follow the path down to the Arrow.
Another familiar area. Start by hitting the four buttons sitting around the Gun Turret to deactivate the Force Field. Follow the path past the Force Field, timing past the buzzers. In this next area, go up the stairs and head towards the arrow marked with Studs, hover across the gap and activate the Panel with R2. Once this is done the buttons in front of the Force Field will activate, so step on them to deactivate the Force Field. Head on through and hope down the steps, following the path, and timing past the Buzzers. In this third area, there are three Control Panels you need to activate, the first is sitting to the right, between the two higher platforms. Then Force the pieces together sitting in the middle of the room. This'll make a platform that you can force into place to reach the higher platforms. Jump up and activate the second Panel, then hover across to the other platform to activate the last Panel. Activating the first panel will cause Enemies, and a couple of powerups to appear. Once this is done, follow the path past the now deactivated Force Field to reach the final area of this part. Here there are a few enemies, but we need to force the pieces together to create a platform to the higher level. Once up here, head towards the arrow.
We just skipped half the movie! It's now time to fight Dooku. We have lost R2 and Amidala, but have gained Obi-Wan, but not for long. Walk forwards to activate a cutscene with Dooku. Anakin and Obi-Wan are out of the fight, but Yoda has showed up! This battle is very similar to the previous one against Maul. Although Dooku is quite a bit harder. Dooku is more powerful, so when you have your lightsaber clash minigame, it's harder to take it to your side. Dooku also has force lightning instead of a Force Push, this makes it a bit easier to hit Dooku if he uses it, as he can't attack you with his own Saber, standing right next to Dooku when he uses his Lightning will make it so you don't take damage from it. Once Dooku is nearly defeated (You can't actually completely deplete his health), Episode II is finished. Yep, only three levels.
