The full list of Extras, including where to find Red Bricks and their cost. Every Extra is also given a description, describing what each one does.
Cost: Free
Unlocked: From Beginning
With this Extra turned on, the game will adjust how many studs you will lose based on how often you die. If you don't die often, then you will lose 4,000 studs, but if you do die often, then you will only lose 1,000. With the Extra turned off, you will always lose 2,000 studs on death.
Cost: 25,000
Unlocked: From Beginning
This Extra adds additional Characters to the Free Play Roster depending on the level you are currently playing. This includes obvious missing characters, such as the Scout Trooper, to jokes such as a generic Skeleton. Refer to the Extra Toggle Characters for the full list of additional characters.
Cost: 8,000 (Fertilizer); 100,000 (Poo Money)
Unlocked: From Beginning (Fertilizer); I-2 (Poo Money)
Both of these Extras are utilized with animals such as Bantha's or Tauntaun's. When you are riding a creature, press the Special button to have the animal poo. With Poo Money also on, animals will instead poo money!
Cost: 5,000 (Daisy Chains, Tow Death Star); 10,000 (Disguise, Chewbacca w/ C-3PO, Silhouettes)
Unlocked: From Beginning
All these Extras are purely visual and cosmetic. Disguise gives every character in the game, including Droids! Goofy sunglasses and moustaches. Daisy Chains makes every Blaster character's grapple into a chain of flowers. Chewbacca w/ C-3PO has Chewie carrying 3PO on his back a'la the end of Empire. Tow Death Star turns every towable bomb in the game into a mini Death Star so you can blow it up as many times as you want! Finally, Silhouettes turns every character and vehicle (including ridable vehicles) completely dark.
Cost: 7,500
Unlocked: From Beginning
Some Vehicles can't defend themselves and instead just fly around. This Extra gives those Vehicles a purpose! Honking! Press the Special button to annoy your friends as much as you want!
Cost: 100,000
Unlocked: I-1
This Extra makes the Gonk Droid move faster and also gives him the ability to jump. That's it!
Cost: 5,000
Unlocked: I-3
This Extra gives the Imperial Spy a bit more use. When the Spy uses his Walkie Talkie, it will disable all Droids in the vicinity.
Cost: 125,000 (Power Brick; 62,500 in iOS); 250,000 (Minikit)
Unlocked: I-4 (Power Brick); V-6 (Minikit)
Both Detector Extras are very useful Extras and should always be a priority for Free Play. Both Extras put Arrows on the screen, directing you to locations of Minikits or the Power Brick. This won't tell you how to get them, only where they are. White Arrows for the Minikits, Red Arrows for the Power Bricks.
Cost: 5,000 (Slap); 10,000 (Astromech); 11,000 (Jedi Slam); 14,000 (Zapper); 15,000 (Blasters); 25,000 (Thermal Detonator, Ewok Catapult); 40,000 (Lightsabers)
Unlocked: I-5 (Slap); III-2 (Astromech); III-3 (Jedi Slam); III-4 (Thermal Detonator); IV-1 (Blasters); IV-3 (Lightsabers); VI-1 (Zapper); VI-4 (Ewok Catapult)
All Eight of these Extras follow the same idea. Making your attacks stronger. Slap makes it so Leia's Melee attack will always kill, Astromech makes all Zappers a bit stronger by having their zapper attack and stun multiple nearby Droids, Jedi Slam makes the Jedi Slam stupidly powerful, while also giving it a larger attack radius, Thermal Detonator makes the Bounty Hunter's Thermal Detonators deal double damage and have a larger explosion radius, Blasters makes all blasters deal double damage, Lightsabers makes all Lightsabers deal double damage and also turns them all Purple, Zapper makes all Zapper now kill Droids instead of stunning them, and Ewok Catapult makes Ewoks fire Torpedos that explode instead of their standard attacks.
Cost: 15,000
Unlocked: I-6
Gives all Jedi and Sith the ability to use Grapple points like any Blaster Character. They'll use the force to jump up to the higher level. Very nice.
Cost: 100,000
Unlocked: II-1
A very useful Extra. This increases the radius for picking up Studs, meaning you can grab Studs from a further distance.
Cost: 100,000
Unlocked: II-2
This Extra makes every Storm/Clone Trooper come equipped with a harmless Carrot instead of a Blaster. Making these enemies far easier to deal with. This ALSO affects your own Storm/Clone Troopers you can play as though... So yeah. Quite useful, if you don't tend to use the Troopers very often.
Cost: 100,000
Unlocked: II-3
This Extra makes defeated enemies drop a small amount of studs. Useful if you're struggling to get True Jedi's and need just a bit extra.
Cost: 20,000 (Perfect Deflect); 150,000 (Deflect Bolts)
Unlocked: II-4 (Perfect Deflect); III-5 (Deflect Bolts)
Putting these together because they both deal with deflecting Blaster bolts. Perfect Deflect specifically applies to Jedi and Sith, you no longer need to time the attack button to deflect bolts, simply holding it down will suffice. Deflect Bolts will make it so any bolt that hits you will automatically deflect off you. Combining both combines their effects.
Cost: 20,000
Unlocked: II-5
Blaster Bolts will now explode on contact with an enemy or wall. This allows Blaster Bolts to destroy silver objects, but they have to be in the radius for it to work.
Cost: 12,000
Unlocked: II-6
Jedi and Sith can now use the Force to pull enemies towards them. This is only if they didn't already have a special ability such as Force Lightning, Force Choke, or a Jedi Mind Trick on Troopers.
Cost: 15,000
Unlocked: III-1
By pressing the Special button, most enemies nearby will be defeated by Smart Bombs instead of other means. This works on everything besides things like Turrets.
Cost: 25,000
Unlocked: III-6
Turns all Jedi characters into Sith characters, complete with Red Lightsaber. A much more cost-effective alternative to either buying a Prequel Sith or waiting till Episode VI to unlock Vader.
Cost: 30,000 (Build); 40,000 (Force)
Unlocked: IV-2 (Force); V-2 (Build)
Both these Extras greatly speed up these Special abilities. Force speeds up using the Force, and Build speeds up all the usual jumping LEGO pieces throughout the game. Useful for time purposes. It's also just satisfying seeing how fast things are built/forced.
Cost: 15,000
Unlocked: IV-4
Gives all Vehicles in the game a Tractor Beam that can catch nearby enemies and hold them spinning in place. Can be useful in some situations, and more annoying in others.
Cost: 1,000,000
Unlocked: IV-5
Quite possibly the most useful Extra in the game. This makes your characters invulnerable to everything besides falling into a pit. Pretty much what the Ghosts do, but for everyone.
Cost: 1,250,000 (x2); 2,500,000 (x4); 5,000,000 (x6); 10,000,000 (x8); 20,000,000 (x10)
Unlocked: IV-6 (x2); V-3 (x4); V-5 (x6); VI-3 (x8); VI-5 (x10)
All of these Extras do the same thing. Increase the amount of Studs you earn by the number of each Extra. The best part? They all stack on top of each other. You can get a multiplier as high as x3840. That means a silver stud is worth 38,400 studs. Have fun!
Cost: 20,000 (25,000 on iOS)
Unlocked: V-1
Gives all Droids the ability to blow themselves up to defeat enemies by hitting the Special button. Combining this with Super Gonk makes the Gonk Droid lethal!
Cost: 150,000
Unlocked: V-4
A more cost-effective alternative to Invincibility. This doesn't make you completely invincible but it will have your hearts regenerate at quite a reasonable pace. If the cost of Invincibility is too much, this is a great secondary option.
Cost: 20,000
Unlocked: VI-2
Gives Jango and Boba Fett the ability to fire rockets from their Jetpacks with the Tag button. That's it.
Cost: 25,000
Unlocked: VI-6
Gives all Vehicles infinite torpedos. Immensely useful, as you don't have to grab them now.
