Chapter 2
ESCAPE FROM ECHO BASE
Imperial forces have mounted a relentless assault on the Rebel base on Hoth. The Rebel fighters have held out bravely, but the enemy is overwhelming.
In the Echo base command center, carved deep into the ice of the frozen planet, Han Solo and Princess Leia monitor the evacuation of Rebel personnel.
But as stormtroopers breach the outer defences, they must quickly find an escape route for themselves....
Playable Characters: Han Solo (Hoth), Princess Leia (Hoth), C-3PO, Chewbacca
Enemies: Snowtrooper
True Jedi at 40,000: Not too hard, smash everything, and make sure to grab the blues on the Ice Slide.
With Han and Leia in tow, head towards the door on the right. Debris will fall down with some pieces. Build them into a bomb to blow open the door. Head down the path and defeat the Snowtroopers to reach the end of the hall. Build the pieces here into a heat bomb. Shoot it a couple times to start melting the ice. Head through.
Head to the end of the Dining Hall and push the heater along the path to melt the ice. Head down the hall, defeating Snowtroopers as usual. One Snowtrooper is manning a gun that we need, so shoot it up to make it explode, along with releasing the Snowtrooper. Rebuild the gun for later use and head right. Destroy the boxes blocking the entrance and head inside.
Build the yellow pieces here to fix the small mechanism, making it roll around again. Push the green half of the object in the middle of the room, to switch the path. A short cutscene will play. Head back.
Head across the hall to the now open left side. 3PO is in here, adding him to the party. Head back to the gun and use it. Destroy the grates blocking the door and use the Protocol Panel. Enter.
Defeat all the Snowtroopers first, releasing the guns, rebuild one of them and destroy the grates blocking the door, build the Protocol Panel. We need to get 3PO up here and it can be a bit complicated. There are four spots on the ground here that boxes must be pushed into to activate fans on the ground. The floor is icy and will cause the boxes to slip around a bit. There are two locations on both sides of the room, so push the boxes (there will be one box left over) into the holes. Destroy the boxes in the middle of the room to show some LEGO pieces. Build them into a Snowmobile. Using Han or Leia, drive the vehicle so 3PO uses the fans to get on the back. Once 3PO is on the back, drive slowly towards the front of the room. Face the door and throw 3PO off the back. Use the Protocol Panel and head on through. Follow the hall down, being cautious as the white blocks will fall upon contact. Build the bomb at the end and head through the door.
This area is good fun, head up to the top of the slide and try to hit all five buttons on the way down. Don't worry, if you don't hit all of them they won't deactivate if you have already hit them. Head through the door to the north once it's open.
Push one of the blocks onto a button to activate it, then step on the other three with your characters (the computer controlled ones will do so automatically, once you step on one.) Technically you need to use two boxes, but one works fine. Follow the hallway down and enter the door.
Chewie has joined us! Defeat all the Snowtroopers here and rebuild the guns. Shoot the sides of the shield, where the generators are, to deactivate it, allowing access to the Falcon. Build the four red door pieces back into place, however we aren't done yet, we need to get up top, and we can't Jump high enough. There is a way to get up there though, on the left side there are two levers, flip them to bring the door up. Push these two boxes into holes on the other end of the room, to open the door directly opposite. Using the Tauntaun's, leap to the top of the Falcon and build the Satellite Dish, enter the now open Falcon to end the stage.
