STUDENT Life in vienna

Prior to each semester, the IiVP provides a comprehensive on-site orientation for all participants.  It includes assistance with initial bureaucratic tasks, academic/personal advising, local excursions, social events, and opportunities to meet Austrian and other international students. 

GER 101 instruction provides a useful framework for much of the orientation students with no background in German receive.  Orientation for those with background in German includes a useful and entertaining grammar review in preparation for German-language coursework. German Orientation students also do research on Vienna and Austrian figures who stand out to them.
