You should not leave Vienna without … planning your return.
A study abroad memory I would like to share: Richard Nixon resigned as President of the United Sates when I began my undergraduate fall semester abroad in Freiburg five decades ago. During that semester, the fall of South Vietnam accelerated. I had come to Germany, expecting to learn more German and more about Germany. I did. Fielding frequent pointed questions about Nixon's resignation and the end of the Vietnam War compelled me to learn more about the United States and the world, too. That is an example of the primary value added to my study abroad. It and others have shaped me as a global citizen ever since.

Fun fact: Ich mag es, einen Löffel an meiner Nasenspitze hängen zu lassen.
You should not leave Vienna without... taking a walk in the wonderful garden of “Schloss Schönbrunn” and eating an ice cream at one of the “Eis Greissler” stands there.
A study abroad memory I would like to share: When I arrived in Moscow for my semester abroad, I thought I wouldn't be able to stay there for more than a few weeks. It was cold, unfriendly and very stressful. As time went by, I started to love the city, made new friends and got on well with my work there. It really strengthened my personality and will always remain one of the most intense and formative periods of my life.
