How to create an Address Book entry

If port 445 is specified

• This sets the printer to use SMB over IP
• If the Host Name is not an IP address then the printer will attempt to use DNS to resolve the Host Name

If port 139 is specified

• This sets the printer to use NetBIOS over TCP/IP
• If the Host Name is not an IP address then the printer will attempt to use NetBEUI to resolve the Host Name

If the shared folder is on a home computer that is not part of a domain

• computer name\user name

If the shared folder is on a computer that is part of a domain

• domain name\user name
• email address

If the shared folder is on a server that is part of a domain

• domain name\user name
• email address
