Printing from Apple macOS

Step 1 - Printer settings

  • Set the emulation in the printer to KPDL (AUTO) or KPDL

Step 2 - Download the macPhase printer driver

  1. Go to https://www.kyoceradocumentsolutions.com/download/

  2. Select your country or region

  3. Select or search for your product

  4. Select the Operating System

  5. Select a Language

  6. Select Driver

  7. Select the download for the Mac Printer Driver

Step 3 - Install the printer driver

    1. Install the macPhase printer driver

    2. Restart the Apple mac to finish the installation

Step 4 - Add the printer

  1. Open Settings and Preferences in macOS

  2. Open Printers and Scanners

  3. Select [ + ] to add a printer

  1. Select the printer

  2. From the Use: drop download list, select the Kyocera “model” (KPDL)

    • Use must not be Secure AirPrint or AirPrint

  3. Select Add
