Custom Install
Drivers tab
To add a custom device
Select + Add custom device
Select the blue arrow to add to the Products to Install list
Select the device model from the Model drop down list
Select an existing port or select Add port... to create a new port using the Add Standard TCP/IP Printer Port Wizard
Select OK
Select a KX DRIVER
Select the blue arrow to add to the Products to Install list
Add additional printers as needed
Add the KX driver for each printer
Select Edit for each printer
Set the Printer name
Select Share the printer if you wish to share the printer after installation
Select Set as default printer if you want this printer to be default after installation
Select OK
Utilities tab
To add screen fonts that match the printer's fonts
1. Select FONTS
2. Select the blue arrow to add to the Products to Install list
To install the Status Monitor
Select a device in the Products to Install list
Select Status Monitor 4 or Status Monitor 5
Select the blue arrow to add to the Products to Install list
Select Use host name as port name if you want the printers ports to use the printer's host name instead of the IP address
Installation
Select No, I do not wish to take part in this feature or select Yes, I want to help improve your products
Select OK
Select the needed options
Select Finish
Create packages for distribution
Select the right arrow next to Install, then select Package
Select Browse to select the folder
Type in a package name
Select Silent installation if you want to see the driver installation progress
Select Show a notification when errors occur if you want to see if an error occurs
Select OK
Select Finish
The created package is a self contained executable
This will only display if not set for silent installation
This will only display if not set for silent installation
Select Install
This will only display if not set for silent installation
Select Close
