2024 Raihanul Islam, lab's MS thesis student, has been awarded the National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship-2023.
2024 Lab name has changed from Biochemistry and Pathogenesis of Microbes to Health, Omics, and Pathway Exploration (HOPE Lab), reflecting a broader focus extending beyond microbes to encompass health and biological pathways across organisms and ecosystems. The previous name will persist as a distinct unit (BPM Unit) within the lab.
2023 HOPE Lab established a collaborative initiative with the Public Health and Environment Research Lab and the Disease and Pathogenesis Lab, forming the "Health, Environment and Disease Research Alliance (HEDRA)". This partnership aims to drive innovative research, improving health while preventing and understanding disease.
