Multimedia Explanations is about improving the empathy of clinic and non-clinical staff towards prisoners/offenders with digital stories via technology. Visual, Auditory and Textual Cueing is important in digital storytelling to improve the healthcare delivery, experience and outcomes of prisoners in the secondary care setting. Embedded Informed Consent is the act of embedding informed consent practices into digital storytelling for patient care CPD aims to draw attention to the ethical considerations of creating and using digital stories about prisoner patients for hospital staff CPD purposes. Is it the digital storytelling or the process that counts? discovers the process of telling one’s own story and listening to others tell theirs in a digital storytelling workshop was more beneficial than the created digital stories.
