The Zabrak were a species of sentient beings native to the planet Iridonia. Given Iridonia's rough conditions, they were known for being a very tough and resilient species.
History: Very quickly after they developed, Zabrak would colonize and map out worlds near their homeworld and would make an early name for their species as explorers and pathfinders. Using both their combat and exploration skills, the Zabrak would become great mercenaries for both the Republic and the Sith, during their many wars. When the Nightsister clans would form on Dathomir, a variation of the Zabrak known as Dathomirian Zabraks would form as a result of breeding between the Nightsisters and the Zabrak. Those Zabrak would form the Nightbrothers, an inferior group of clans who were dominated by their relatives, the Nightsisters. Many Nightbrothers would be grabbed up by the Sith, to serve as assassins and mercenaries, Savage Opress and Darth Maul being examples.
Culture: Hailing from the dangerous world of Iridonia, full of deadly fauna and flora, as well as beasts, the Zabrak grew to be very resistant to pain, and grew a second heart, in the case their first one were to be damaged, they’d live. Their culture included extensive training in the martial arts, a specialty that would place the Zabrak among the best fighters in close-quarters combat. As a part of their culture, Zabraks would tattoo themselves.
Appearance: The Zabrak were known for their many tattoos, which could display a wide variety of things, such as notable events, or family history. Their horns would be another feature the Zabrak were known for. Their skin tone could be nearly any color, excluding purple, and blue, while their eyes could be any color.
