Vaapad is a much more dangerous form when compared to other lightsaber forms, mainly because other forms require the user to channel their emotion. Vaapad was one of, if not the strongest lightsaber fighting form, this was clearly shown in Revenge of the Sith where Master Windu beats Darth Sidious, one of the most powerful sith
Origins: Form VII, also known as Vaapad, was created by Master Mace Windu and Master Sora Bulq. While Master Windu had made this form to address his weakness by channeling his inner darkness, Sora Bulq used it mainly to gain power. Unfortunately, Sora Bulq had turned to the dark side after using the form of Vaapad, causing Master Windu to be very careful with who he taught the form to. Vaapad is a re-made version of Juyo, a form banned from being used in The Jedi Order. Vaapad was the only Jedi lightsaber fighting form that had gained recognition from the council.
Movement and practice: Practitioners of Vaapad used all their anger and passion, yet never gave into them. Users fought with controlled fury, using a combination of fast rapid strikes, and powerful blows. Vaapad was very physically and mentally demanding as you needed to be strong in the body, and the mind. Only a few Jedi used Vaapad due to it being very easy to fall to the dark side while using it.
Strengths and Weaknesses: One of Vaapad’s key strengths was being able to use all of your emotion, yet not turning to the dark side. This allowed users to use all their strength. Vaapad was a very unpredictable form, as there were only a handful of practitioners. Vaapad practitioners were very fast in their movements while still being able to give the opponent strong blows from their saber. Many of Vaapad’s weaknesses are not from flaws in fighting, however they are from flaws in the mind. Many of Vaapads users have turned to the darkside because of the difficulty to use your emotion and not let it change your mindset.
