- Encourage them to take their learning a step more than what is required (special research, book about a specific topic, extension project of their learning)

- Provide them the opportunities to learn in the manner that they learn best. This will provide all the motivation they need to keep learning.

- Encourage them to be experts in their field or in the subject matter that interests them. Point out opportunities like conferences that may interest them.
