What to Lead Those with Developer
- Ask them who they see around them see developing in skills or maturity. You can get a glimpse of how they see the world this way.
- Acknowledge them when they encourage others to excel. This can build great teams, cultures, and positive environments.
- Allow the Developer to decide which colleagues should be recognized. Developers will know which achievements deserve praise, and the recipients of the recognition will know that the praise is genuine.
- Give them the opportunity to mentor one or two people with whom they would like to work or have them teach a class on a topic that will benefit the whole group, team, or organization.
