Frequency

Adverbs of frequency tell us how often something happens.

They come:

• at the end or beginning of a sentence (We visit our grandparents twice a month / Twice a month we visit our grandparents),

• after an auxiliary (You can always rely on me) or

• before a full verb (She often makes a cake).
