WHAT WE TEACH:

S1-S3 BGE: The course aims to expose pupils to a range of different activities where they will develop their physical, social, emotional and mental well-being. We motivate pupils and challenge them in gymnastics, basketball, badminton, etc.. PE’s aim is to teach new skills that will help the learner through life as well as challenge them in areas they are more confident in. As they progress through the years they will learn to work together, lead each other as well as develop their physical skills and fitness.

National 3,4 & 5: The National Physical Education Course allows learners to develop and demonstrate a comprehensive range of movement and performance skills in physical activities. Learners also develop an increased understanding of the important link between fitness and good health.

Higher: The Higher Physical Education Course allows learners to develop and demonstrate a broad and comprehensive range of complex movement and performance skills in challenging contexts. Learners also analyse a performance, understand what is required to develop it, and apply this knowledge to their own performance.
