The Support for Learning Department at Elgin High School understand that pupils may require support for different reasons throughout their schooling. We aim to create an environment within which pupils can fully reach their potentials.

Our flexible support comes in many forms from SQA assessment support, in class support, small group teaching and 1:1 sessions for a variety of reasons.

Staff in support for learning adopt a collaborative approach and work closely with subject teachers, guidance staff and external agencies to try and overcome any barriers to learning and support pupils through these challenges as early as possible.

The support for learning team strive to meet the needs of all and aim to prepare our young people for life after school as best as possible.

We work closely with Gordonstoun School and their Community Service pupils as well as local businesses such as the Moray Food Bank.
