Rebekah Still

Rebekah Still is an artist from Crofton, Maryland who works across watercolor, charcoal, and graphite. Her work uses introspective imagery to study meaning and connection between the surfaces of reality. In this work, Rebekah used a mixture of graphite drawings and digital media to show how precious feelings and memories can become lost in translation. By exploring these ideas through a GIF, the work resembles a copy machine which is sifting through highly personal items and imagery - but they are ultimately rendered as mundane. Rebekah is currently a student at Utah Valley University studying Art and Design who graduates in Spring 2022. She hopes to continue exploring the effects of emotion and reflection in her future artwork.
