Abby Jones

Abigail Jones is an artist from Utah who works across painting, drawing, and the sculpture. Her work uses color and nostalgia to study excitement in the simplicity of life. In this work, Abby created a GIF to express feelings of familiarity and excitement. By exploring these ideas through GIF, the work becomes viewed through the perspective of sentimentality that stop-motion animation provides. Abby is currently a student at Utah Valley University studying Art Education who graduates in spring 2021. She hopes to continue studying art by providing children with a creative foundation.
