Brookelle Jones

Brookelle Jones is an artist from Utah who works across a wide range of mediums including watercolor, ink, charcoal, and graphite. Her work uses observational, expressive techniques to study visuals of nature – specifically landscapes. In this work, Brookelle used stop-motion animation to portray a specific journey in her life recovering from an eating disorder. By exploring these ideas through a stop motion-animation, the work is viewed through the perspective of those who might not understand the weight of an invisible illness. Brookelle is currently a student at Utah Valley University studying painting and drawing. She graduates in Fall, 2022. She hopes to continue creating meaning in her life through her art and to teach others that creativity can be learned.
