Matthew Willis

Matthew Willis is an artist from Seattle, Washington who works across drawing, painting and graphic design. His work uses colorful organic forms to explore themes of psychedelia and human consciousness. In this work, he used elements of drawing and digital animation to express a sense of immersion. By exploring these ideas through the repeating nature of the GI, there is further immersion into the piece as it pulls you into the simplicity and repetition of form. He is currently a student at Utah Valley University studying Art and Design who graduates in 2022. He hopes to continue his creative endeavors as a solo artist/ graphic designer pushing his art style into the realms of fashion and large-scale murals.
