Q: What is D2D?

A: D2D is Vudu's Disc-to-digital program. https://www.vudu.com/content/in_home_disc_to_digital.html You can use your discs you own to convert them to digital copies. There is now one way to do this as of 1/1/20 (MD2D).

MD2D or Mobile D2D. You will use a browser on your iOS phone or the Vudu app on your Android phone to scan the back of your discs you own (the UPC) and convert them to digital copies. There is a limit of 100 per year with this type of D2D.

Use www.d2dsheet.com to determine what is eligible.

Prior to 1/1/20 there was also D2D using Vudu to Go (In-Home D2D). You used a computer to download their app and put your discs in your BR drive or DVD drive to convert. There was no limit on this type of D2D. This type of D2D does not work on movies released after 2013. Vudu will say they are eligible but none will convert. Use Mobile D2D for newer movies if they are eligible.
