Verifying codes

Video Tutorial: https://youtu.be/dKMYj3o_c2M

You should be verifying your codes as much as that is possible before selling them. Here's a tutorial on how to do that for different studios and providers. This is not 100%. It doesn't work for everything, but should for most. Use a Private Browser/Incognito to verify all your codes.

Movies Anywhere

You can only verify studios that are MA on here as far as quality goes. So WB, Universal and Sony. WB will not always be accurate on quality here if you want to redeem on FAH/Vudu. You need to know what disc it came from to be 100% sure. But it will redeem the quality it shows on MA.

Go to https://moviesanywhere.com/redeem put the code in and if it's good it will ask you to sign in and show the quality. The one good point about MA is that it usually will not allow you to redeem the same quality code. So if you own SD and the code is SD it won't usually redeem it. It will just tell you you already own it. This might be a good option if you don't know the quality of the code and cannot verify it.

FAH/VUDU

You can verify directly at FAH/Vudu by signing out and going to the movie page for that movie. Click on Redeem (half way down the page now) and put in the code. If the sign in box pops up on FAH/Vudu, the code should be good. You can also go to https://my.vudu.com/redeem.html search for the movie and put in the code. If you are signed into FAH/Vudu or you redeem a code you already own it is burned. Keep in mind that this will not verify the title of the movie necessarily. Just if the code is good or not. Many codes will verify in any title, especially for WB and Sony. The code will only redeem the movie it was meant for, not necessarily what movie it verifies good at. Go to the studio sites/MA if you need to see what the movie is.

LIONSGATE/STARZ/ANCHOR BAY

You can check Lionsgate codes on https://movieredeem.com/redeem. Here it will show you the date the code was redeemed if it already is or will give you the options to choose from. You only get one unless the code is an older code with 12 digits. Then there may be an extra iTunes redeem.

WARNER BROS

You can verify on  https://moviesanywhere.com/redeem or https://digitalredeem.warnerbros.com/ (Will show the date used on WB)

FOX

Go to https://foxredeem.com/ put in your code. It will show you the date it was redeemed if it's used. If not hit continue. Check the bottom right hand corner of the screen and if it tells you your digital rights will be in Standard Definition, it's SD. Make sure you are logged out here, some codes open an autoredeem to FAH/Vudu HD codes won't have anything on the bottom right. (Check the attached screenshot)

UNIVERSAL

You can try and verify Universal codes on https://www.uphe.com/DigitalCopy/TokenEntry Put the code in and hit continue. It may take you directly to MA

You will be able to see the quality here. I would then verify at FAH/Vudu to see if the code is actually good. Sometimes Universal will show the date for a code that has been redeemed. This will often show good when the code is used, however. So use it for quality validation but not to see if a code is good or not. Check directly at FAH/Vudu to see if the FAH/Vudu is good and use your iTunes verification options to check if iTunes is good directly at iTunes.

SONY

Verify quality on Movies Anywhere. To see when it was redeemed go to https://redeem.sonypictures.com/redeem

PARAMOUNT

You can see if the code is good here https://www.paramountdigitalcopy.com/redeem I would use FAH/Vudu to verify most as their website can be inaccurate. iTunes is not accurate to verify here. It will show good when it is used for older codes. Codes released after March 2020 should be accurate since they are one redeem.

4K Codes

The slip numbers on the bottom of the digital slip for 4K codes have been put in the 4K redeeming sheet. Check there to verify quality, especially for Lionsgate and WB. Paramount 4K slips will be black. Universal should have 4K/UHD on most of the slip numbers.  www.4ksheet.com
