Introduction to Shock absorbing system & anti roll bar
Shock absorbers are an essential component of any Formula Student race car, and form an integral part of the suspension system. They are designed to dampen the vibrations and impacts received from the track surface, and help maintain the car's pitch and yaw angles, ensuring a smoother ride for the driver and a more consistent performance from the car. Shock absorbers come in many different types and sizes, with the most common being hydraulic and coil over designs which we will also use in our car. The main target of our design is, in conjunction with anti roll bar, to be able to handle weight transfer and rolling over during high-speed turning, high lateral acceleration and has the flexibility to adjust to different track environment.

The front and the rear share a similar design, both being double wishbone pushrod configuration, and utilize anti roll bar for better cornering.
