Automotive system design is a critical component of the development and production of modern vehicles. In this class, students will explore the design and implementation of various automotive systems, including powertrain, suspension, structure, steering, brakes, and other systems. Through a hands-on project students will gain a deep understanding of the theories, principles, and practices of automotive system design.
In this semester, the project for the Automotive System Design class is to design an Electric Vehicle (EV) configuration Formula SAE (FSAE) car which capable of competing in FSAE events.
