The cockpit components of a race car, such as the dashboard, gauges, and instrumentation, are designed to provide the driver with real-time information about the car's performance, speed, and powertrain health.
Based on the driver's field of view shown above, our design places the steering wheel at a high position, almost at eye level for maximum ergonomics. Therefore, the multi-functional informative display is positioned on the steering wheel instead of the dashboard to allow the driver to access and read information with minimal distraction, even at high speeds.
