...et je suis mort
PREMISE
Life is precious ! Don't waste it! In this party game, you will create the most incredible stories that led to an unfortunate demise.
👥 4 to 8 players ⏱️ 20-40 minutes
Game Material:
Package of 86 dangerous objects
30 skull tokens
Game board
1m30s timer
Paper or an erasable slate for each player
RULES
After the cards are dealt, players have a minute and a half to create the most amusing, illogical, and surprising story possible recounting their death by combining one of the dangerous object cards in their hand with two dangerous objects among the four community cards. The story must end with the sentence “(...) and I died. »
Players are encouraged to write down a few key words from their stories on a piece of paper or slate to help them when it is their turn to tell their story to others.
When the time is up, the player to Destiny's left tells the story of his death to the others in a dramatic way. While speaking, the storyteller places the relevant cards on the part of the board marked “The Story”, and of course ends by proclaiming “…and I am dead!” »
Going clockwise, each player tells the group how they died following the same procedure.
Next comes… judgement.
Fate chooses the most incredible, absurd, ridiculous, and stupid story to die for, and gives a skull token to the corresponding storyteller.
All the cards that have been used (the four community cards and the card played by each player) are then discarded.
CONTINUE THE GAME
In the next game turn, the player to the left of the Destiny becomes the new Destiny and deals new cards; four community cards on the board and one for each player to replace each item used in their personal inventory.
We restart the timer and the game continues in the same way
THE WINNER:
The first player to win five skull tokens is the champion of the game!
GAME SETUP
First, determine who in the group has been injured most recently-- this player is designated as the first 'destiny' and is in control of the course of the game.
Destiny shuffles the object cards and gives three cards to each player. Then form a common hand by placing four cards face up on the board provided (Inventory).
