Chaco Canyon, located in northwestern New Mexico, is a significant archaeological site and a National Historical Park, known for its well-preserved ruins. Between 900 and 1150 AD, it was a major center for people who constructed large complexes like Pueblo Bonito, the largest in North America at the time.
