‘over print’를 위해 처음 그린 일러스트를 리메이크한 작품. 바스키아의 왕관과 “tell me how everyone can get”. 그녀는 자신의 좁은 공동체와 허용되는 소득 범위 내에서 왕으로 군림할 수 있다.

이번 전시를 위해 무분별한 프린트 작업은 하지 않겠다고 다짐했으나, 연대기적 전시의 성격상 이를 진행하게 되었다. 슬로바키아의 Escape Motions가 개발한 리얼 페인팅 소프트웨어 ‘Rebelle’를 사용했다. 디지털 캔버스 위에서 전통적인 물감을 시뮬레이션하는 소프트웨어 중에서는 가장 뛰어나다고 생각한다.

A remade work of the very first illustration I created for over print. Features Basquiat’s crown and the phrase "tell me how everyone can get." She can remain a king within her own narrow community and the confines of her allowance.

For this exhibition, I had initially decided against presenting lazy print works, but I produced this piece to serve the chronological overview of the display. I used "Rebelle," a real-media painting software developed by Escape Motions in Slovakia. I believe it is the most outstanding software available for simulating traditional paints on a digital canvas.

over printへ描き下ろした最初のイラストをリメイクした作品。バスキアの王冠と「tell me how everyone can get」。彼女は彼女の狭いコミュニティ、許す所得範疇で王様でいられる。

今回の展示のために、安易なプリント物はやらないとしていたが、年譜的展示のためそれを行った。スロバキアの Escape Motions が開発したリアルペイントソフト 「Rebelle」を使用した。伝統的な絵の具をデジタルキャンバス上でシミュレートするソフトの中では最も秀でていると思う。
