Name: Fenrir
Age: 13
Gender: Male
Race: Demi-gorgon
Abilities:
Gorgon Gaze: Fenrir's gaze has the ability to turn people into stone, albeit it operates more as a boon rather than a curse in that Fenrir is able to choose when it activates
Caduceus: A staff stolen from Hermes, the god of commerce, which appears as a stick entwined by two serpents and with wings surmounting it. It has the ability to wake people from slumber, or to put them into it. Using it on those who are dying gives them a merciful death.
Half and Half: Blood from Fenrir's right side has healing properties whilst blood from his left side is poisonous
Adventurous Spirit: Fenrir is nimble and wily in his hunger for adventure
Appearance: Fenrir is a 4ft 8 half-human, half-gorgon. He has messy raven black hair that is carefully gelled and lion-yellow eyes. His nails are perpetually an edgy black color from nail polish. Black snake scales periodically mottle parts of his body. His fangs, while long as a snake's, is more for show than for battle. He prefers uncured leather clothing, similar to an archer's.
Personality: Fenrir is currently in his edgy teenage phase, preferring dark clothing and expressing himself in more morbid ways. However, even despite this edginess, he has no desire to hurt people, only using his gorgon abilities as self-defense or whenever necessary. He has a strong sense of morality, believing the line between right and wrong is a thin and well-defined one. Fenrir has an insatiable hunger for adventure. Part of it is the prospect of spoils, but Fenrir is mostly enraptured by the idea of exploring the world.
Background: Fenrir's mother is a gorgon and his father is a blind human. They met each other on a secluded peninsula-- his mother had fled there to live in peace despite her curse. His father, meanwhile, was exiled from his position as a prince and wandered to the peninsula. As their offspring, Fenrir had none of the issues that his mother and father had-- he wasn't an exiled prince, and he only turned people to stone when he felt like it. As such, it was natural for him to want to wander away from the peninsula, and he did. Often. When he wasn't being homeschooled by his father he was out in the surrounding areas, his field of exploration growing with every year.
One day, Fenrir stumbled upon a community called the Followers of Hectate. These monstrous Empusas would've posed a threat to Fenrir if not for the fact that they knew that if they ate Fenrir, then the gorgon at the peninsula would make sure they faced consequences. Fenrir's father made sure that Fenrir understood that when he came home that night.
And so, when a demigod of Hesperus wandered into the area controlled by the followers of Hectate and got lost, Fenrir and a similarly aged Empusa worked together to direct the demigod back to safety. That Empusa, Fenrir learned, was named Circe, and the two of them quickly bonded. In time, Circe began joining Fenrir on his explorations, the two of them becoming inseperable friends.
Name: Fenrir Quetzalcoatl
Age: 34
Gender: Male
Personality: In short, an idiot. Fenrir was never quite that good at school, but he did have an excellent eye for business. He is quite extroverted and seeks out interactions with the laundromat's customers, and has a passion for ice cream. The squabbles that he gets into with Aveline are often very stupid. Fenrir spends most of his free time shopping at thrift stores and clipping supermarket coupons. Unlike his teenage counterpart, Fenrir has grown out of his edge phase, and instead dresses quite like a yakuza mobster. But those fancy clothes all come from the thrift store of course.
Background: Fenrir was one of those kids who grew up from the streets, leaving the house in the morning with his secondhand bike and returning when the streetlamps were lit. In his childhood, one of his favorite playmates was a girl named Aveline. He stuck with her throughout their time in school, and upon graduation, joined her in co-owning a laundromat. In the back, they sold ice cream, away from the prying eyes of the Department of Public Health.
