The cook that works the late night shift at the Goose Egg, a comfort food diner. He has a marked lack of street smarts, relying instead on his luck for survival
Name: Ashton Mercado
Gender: Male
Age: 24
Species: Human
Sexuality: Homosexual
Personality: Ashton is zesty, vulgar, and brimming with confidence, bordering on recklessness. He's friendly and always willing to make a new friend, often sharing his cigarettes to build rapport with someone. Although he's not a fan of his job, he always approaches customer service with an immature, but genuinely cheerful attitude.
He lacks any semblance of street smarts, often making rookie mistakes in terms of knowledge but being saved by his luck, and his proficiency with fighting. Examples of his incompetency include telling the taxi driver he wanted to go "to work", showing photos of his cats to someone who tried to mug him, and leaving the front door unlocked because he lost his keys. His luck has always pulled him out of trouble though.
Backstory: Ashton was born and raised in the small town of Pinesville, a cold New England town that was snowy two thirds of the year. When he was young, he was a troublemaker of sorts, always with a prank or two up his sleeve, and never a fan of learning. When he graduated, Ashton had no interest in attending college or going to any sort of trade school, and so he found himself working the late shift for the Goose Egg, the local diner, in order to pay the bills.
