Initial Configuration

The pieces are initially arranged as the diagram below.

The orange squares are called tam2 hue (tam2's field). Pieces here change the way they move.

The sky-blue squares are tam2 nua2 (tam2's water), entry to which requires you to cast sticks (as will be explained later) in most cases.

The green square is both a tam2 hue and a tam2 nua2, and is called tam2 zo1 (tam2's mountain).
