Students in the Stem Cell Technology certificate program will be prepared to work at a biotech company or an academic research lab as a technician in mammalian cell culture or adult and embryonic stem cell culture. Graduates of this program can apply for the Stem Cell Internship Program, a 9-month, paid opportunity to work in a research lab or biotech company.
The Stem Cell Certificate will no longer be offered after Fall 2020. Students can complete the same training in the Biotechnology Certificate, and apply to the Stem Cell Internship.
The Stem Cell Technology certificate is designed for students that have a strong grasp of algebra, biology, and chemistry from previous academic or work experience.
