volunteer at the biosymposium
Volunteer at the CCSF Biosymposium:
Currently the Biosymposium is held virtually - please join us in supporting CCSF Biotechnology students by attending the event and/or volunteering to be a Mock Interviewer (mock interviews held via Zoom).
The CCSF Biosymposium, held at the end of each semester (December & May), offers multiple volunteer opportunities for those working in the Biosciences:
Mock Interviewer: Be part of a 3-5 person interview panel mock interviewing CCSF Biotechnology students who have completed internships in local labs. 2 hour time commitment.
Networking Lunch Discussion Lead: Lead an informal lunch discussion related your area(s) of expertise. Students will come, sit, and ask you about your career, education, thoughts on your area of research/work. No preparation needed. 1.5 hour time commitment.
Volunteers welcome from all levels & fields of Bioscience - including graduate students, postdocs, faculty, and all levels from industry and government research/biotech.
If you are interested, choose which volunteer opportunities you are interested in when you register for the Biosymposium.
