S3 Food Technology
What will this look like?
4 periods a week, mixture of practical and theory, some weeks will be more practical than others. In S3 you will cook every week but in S4 this will decrease as you focus on exam theory.
Course content:
Nutrition; deep dive into what individual bodies needs to stay healthy and prevent dietary diseases.
Product development; look at the stages of new food product development, plan & create your own product.
Range of practical dishes designed to develop skills, link to course content and reflect the health outcomes of this course.
