The Mathematics Department aim to ensure that support, challenge and enjoyment are available to every pupil throughout their mathematical experience at Balwearie. We endeavour to provide every pupil with the opportunity to achieve their potential in Mathematics.
There is no such thing as a "Maths Gene", everyone has the ability to develop their numerical and mathematical skills. New for session 26-27 - Financial Services NPA/SfW Award
This is for you if you wish to continue to develop your Numeracy and Employability Skills in S5 or S6. You will study units in the following areas:
Financial Services: Introduction/Financial Services: Introduction
Financial Services: Personal Finance Awareness
Financial Services: Building Positive Relationships with Customers and Colleagues
Financial Services: Employability Skills
- on completion you will achieve a National 5 award. The link below has more information to help you decide. This award will be jointly delivered by our Maths and Business departments
