Creative Thinking

Top skills; Critical Thinking, Communicating, Sense Making

The Creative Thinking course challenges our own assumptions and allows us to discover new things about ourselves and our perspectives. It’s a core skill which proves that there are many solutions to any problem, and developing creative thinking skills helps recognise innovative solutions more quickly. In this course, pupils learn about the process of design thinking in a series of exciting, creative projects. Pupils will learn about graphic design, animation, architecture, and much more. They will also develop a range of skills that are relevant to many career pathways through lessons designed by a host of industry partners, such as Lego, Rockstar games, Napier University and Glasgow School of Art. Pupils hoping to apply to Art & Design schools will be able to build a portfolio of work which can be used within their UCAS and University applications.
