Ejército del Aire y del Espacio (Eda) / Spanish Air Force

The Spanish Air Force (Ejército del Aire / EdA) was the successor to the Nationalist and Republican Air Forces and was officially established following the end of the Spanish Civil War on 7th October 1939. In June 2022, the Spanish Government announced the Ejército del Aire would be renamed Ejército del Aire y del Espacio (Spanish Air and Space Force), and was formally established 09th January 2024.
