Nepal Army Air Wing

Formed in 1965, the primary role of the Nepalese Army Air Service (also known as the Nepal Army Air Wing / formerly Royal Nepalese Air Force) is to transport and assist in case of an emergency / natural disaster.

In 2010 I travelled to Nepal with work colleagues for some charity work. Part of the trip included a local flight out of Kathmandu airport. Here are some dodgy photos taken out of the transfer bus window in the general direction of some camouflaged aircraft.

I would have tried much harder had I known, at the time, I was taking a photo of pretty much the entire Nepalese Army Air Service !!
