Established 1st February 1920, the SAAF is the air force of South Africa and has served in World War II and the Korean War. Today, with limited air combat capability, the SAAF primarily provide regional peace-keeping, disaster relief and maritime patrol operations.

WOF Aviation provides aerial support to the South African Government’s Department of Environmental Affairs’ (DEA) Working on Fire Programme. Responding to an average of 300 fires annually, WOF Aviation partners with municipalities, landowners, conservation agencies and Fire Prevention Associations (FPAs) providing support to WOF ground crews.
Aircraft and pilots are supplied by Kishuga Aviation.
