What is youth polo? Youth Polo introduces new players and builds skills for our experienced players. Join us to learn the great sport of water polo, develop skills, and play games against local clubs. Coaches will train athletes in the fundamentals of water polo in a competitive, safe, and fun environment. We are looking for players who want to continue the rich tradition of Arroyo Grande Water Polo.

Age and Experience? The age range is 7 to 14. You don't need any water polo experience. However, you must swim four laps of the pool for the 12u and 14u. The 10u should be thoroughly water-safe and capable of doing a 25-yard swim. Athletes should be comfortable swimmers. Ages are Based upon the child's age on August 1st, 2024!

2-Week Trial Memberships Allow athletes to try water polo for two weeks in the 10u, 12u, and 14u. Splashball will fill up, no trials membership : register below and complete a trial membership for USWP. Please bring a receipt of a trial membership to participate in practice. www.usawaterpolo.com

The Summer 14u Group will be prepping for the JOs and ready for the summer system. We will move them to the Morning schedules. 

Dates: May 13th - July 28th.  = May 13th - June Will follow the Sr Group Schedule.

Splash ball - Water Polo

• Program info - Splashball is designed to introduce the sport of water polo to children 6- 9 years old. The intent is to provide basic skills and understanding of the sport in a recreational format. Although water polo is known for its toughness and endurance, Splashball harnesses all the fun, dynamic aspects of the game in a safe, easy-to-learn aquatic experience that will motivate kids to swim and stay fit. We will use noodles and the shallow end to help with the kids and being in deep water for an hour:).

Dates - June 12 - July 17

Ages - 6-8yrs Old 

Practice - Wednesday and Friday 1-2 pm @ AGHS
