What is youth polo? Youth Polo introduces new players and builds skills for our experienced players. Join us to learn the great sport of water polo, develop skills, and play games against local clubs. Coaches will train athletes in the fundamentals of water polo in a competitive, safe, and fun environment. We are looking for players who want to continue the rich tradition of Arroyo Grande Water Polo.

Age and Experience? Ages 8 years old - 14 years old. You don't need any water polo experience. You must swim four laps of the pool for the 12u and 14u. The 10u should be thoroughly water-safe and capable of doing a 10-yard swim and back. Athletes should be comfortable swimmers. 

Dates: Monday, January 9th - May 5th. 

Ages Based upon the age on August 1st, 2024!

Girls 14u 

• Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 7:30 - 9:00 pm

• Tuesday 6:45 - 8:00 pm - Swim/Conditioning Training Practice - February, this time will change to 7:30-8:30 pm.

Girls 12u

• Tuesday, Wednesday, 7:30 - 9:00 pm

• Monday 7:30-8:30 pm - Swim/Conditioning Training Practice 

Coed - 8 - 10's 

• Monday and Wednesday 6:00-7:15 pm ---- In February, practices will switch to Later times @AG Pool 7:30-8:30 pm (We will have earlier practices when the pool is available)  

Games and Tournaments: We attend one league date and one tournament per month and have a couple of local scrimmages throughout the session. 

• Central Coast Youth League Winter League ---- Single Day League with two games in one day.

  • April 5-7 @ Cal Cup State Finals Riverside 12's and 14's

  • April 19 - 21 @ Cal Cup Stat Finals Riverside 16s & 14s will play up @ 14s. 

  • May 3rd - 5th @ San Diego Cup @ San Diego Pools
