2023-24 Winter Water Polo

What is Winter Polo? - Winter Polo is an off-season training program for the upcoming spring and Summer JO's run! For the advanced and returning players, this fall season is designed to advance player off-season training and games. You can learn the game for the new and beginning players to prepare for the upcoming spring high school season. Experience is optional, and our coaching staff is used to teaching from the bottom up. 8th Graders are strongly encouraged to be with the 18s & 16s group as much as possible, with 14s Practice being the priority. ---- During the club season, we play in age group tournaments. (Groups by Age 18u/16u/14u - Age as of Aug 1)

Dates: Nov 30 - Feb 4th.

Monday - Thursday Practice Alternating Early/ Late. After the Christmas Break we add swim in the rotation.
4 Days of Weights AM's & 1 Swim Morning.
Christmas Break / Vacation Dates - Please try to Vacation during week 1 (Dec 22nd - Jan 1) of Break. I Get it's the off-season. No worries, do your best—reminder: the top 12-14 Girls will be playing at the Covis West Futures Event Jan 6th.

Club Polo- We Will be one winter group, with no varsity and JV split. ---- Age Group will play in tournaments. (Groups by Age 18u/16u/14u - Age as of Aug 1, 2024)

Cost: $625.00 --- Payment is made through the Paypal System. It can be broken into three payments. Dec, Jan, Feb. - Multiple payment methods available.

Futures -

Spring Polo Update - We are working on a plan for one morning and two nights of available polo this spring, probably one at AG and one at Nipmom. How you work out the polo/swim combo is your call for you. Do what is best for you. I'll be at the Morning workouts plus the zero-period weights and Swim. Coach Miles and Marsh will lead the spring polo night practices, depending on pool availability.
