GET ORGANISED
Use calenders, check-lists or even post-its. Try out different methods but pick one and use it to keep track of your workload, deadlines and seminars.
AVOID DISTRACTIONS
Plan chunks of time to focus and avoid distractions. Whether it is 15 minutes or 2 hours, turn off your phone notifications and give yourself some head-space to concentrate.
LOOK AFTER YOURSELF
We all have to balance lots of demands on our time, and studying for a degree is going to take up more of your time, but don't lose sight of taking care of yourself in the process.
FOCUS ON YOUR GOALS
Things will get difficult. Deadlines bring pressure. Working on unfamiliar tasks is hard work. And it is meant to be hard! Keeping focused on your goals will help you get through the difficulties.
Finding when and where to study
Prioritize and organise
This time management matrix is an effective tool that can help you manage your time and tasks.

Keep on top of your work
Make sure you know when your deadlines are, and what work you need to do each week.
Attend your seminars and lectures and meeings - students who attend, do better.
Make the most of your time on campus - talking to and learning with fellow students can help you understand things, and helps you see that others are going through similar study challenges as you.
Make a list of unfamiliar words and language - whether it is things like 'module', 'Moodle' and 'assignment brief' or the concepts and ideas you're discussing in your sessions.
Always record your references and page numbers when taking notes: it will save you lots of time later on.
Keep checking Moodle: all the information you need is on there somewhere.
Tell your personal tutor of any difficulties you are experiencing - they are there to help.
