What is Moodle?
Moodle is the virtual learning environment used at Newman. It's where you'll find details about your modules, assignments, required reading, links to submit your assignments and much more.
Where can I find Moodle?
Log in to myNewman https://login.newman.ac.uk/. You'll find there a link to Moodle.Â
How do I use Moodle?
Each module you're taking will have its own Moodle course page. You'll see a list of all course pages you have access to on the 'your courses' section of Moodle. Each module and each lecturer may use Moodle in different ways - but it will always be an important part of your learning experiences at Newman.
This is the Moodle dashboard. It's the first page you'll see on accessing Moodle, and you will also see there a list of upcoming activities including assignments that are due and activites on Moodle to complete.
Select the 'my courses' tab to view the list of Moodle courses you can access (usually one per module).
Each Moodle page you have access to will look different. Some Moodle pages will have lots of material that you need to go through each week as part of your assessment.
