CONCLUSION

In today’s translation landscape, CAT tools, MT tools, AI-powered systems, gisting, and traditional translation techniques work less as competitors and more as complementary resources. CAT tools (Computer-Assisted Translation) enhance consistency, efficiency, and terminology management; MT tools (Machine Translation) and AI systems accelerate initial drafts and enable large-scale processing; and gisting provides quick, non-polished translations for understanding rather than publishing. However, these technologies are only as effective as the translator’s skill in applying sound translation techniques such as adaptation, transposition, modulation, and equivalence to ensure accuracy, cultural relevance, and natural flow. Ultimately, the human translator remains central, using technology as an ally rather than a replacement, balancing speed and precision to meet diverse communicative needs. I also learned about this tool to create a website, it was new to me and I learned to use it quite well.
