The ground floor renovations were centered around student life at Michigan Tech. With more and more huskies joining each year, the demand for a bigger court would exceed. The first renovation would be to build a mall style food court in place of Breakfast & Co. To meet up with the demand, rebuilding the dining area is also needed for more seating. New windows, doors, and other equipment would also take in the renovation.
