The current hotel rooms seem small and uncomfortable. These individuals deserve a nice place to stay, and that is what our group intends to provide them with. When the renovations are complete there will be fewer hotel rooms available in the MUB, but they will be more inviting to those who stay in them.  

The second floor of the Memorial Union Building hosts numerous events. Space for seating and conversing outside the conference room was added. This will provide the extra needed space for people coming to Michigan Tech who have meetings in the conference rooms on the second floor. 

When creating the common area a storage closet for tables and chairs was removed. Because of this the closet was relocated a crossed the hallway. This closet will be in a more ideal location for tables and chairs between all the conference rooms.
