The Alley gets its name from the bowling alley that used to be in the basement, which goes to show how much the MUB has evolved over the years. This space is home to all sorts of tools and materials students can use to create their own projects. Lighting is harsh and the space feels like it is buried deep underground, not the most inspiring of spaces. The MTU site currently shows gender neutral bathrooms that do not exist.

The storage rooms would be removed to make space for the Copper Country Robotics team, which works out of the makerspace but currently lacks a proper space for their tools and equipment.
The lighting will be adjusted to make the space more inviting as well as replace the fluorescents with LEDs.
Signs on the bathroom doors would be changed to make them all gender. This fixes the discrepancy between the MTU website showing gender neutral bathrooms in the basement that don't exist presently.Â
